Every landing, now analyzed
Open any scored landing for the landing.fyi review — a short, plain-English read of what went well and what to polish, built from what actually happened. It credits a gusty day instead of blaming you, and names the crosswind, sink and drift it saw.
Your rollout counts now
The score used to stop at the touchdown. Now landing.fyi grades the rollout too — how straight you track down the runway and how much runway you use — and folds it in as a sixth part of your landing score. Open any landing and the roll is drawn right there on the runway, next to the map.
Every field you visit has a leaderboard
Not just your home base — every airport you land at has a public page with the best landings flown there, recent approaches colored by score, and the field on its aviation chart. Land a great one and you're on the board, anonymous unless you say otherwise.
July is the month landing.fyi gets smarter
The headline is the landing.fyi review. Every scored landing can now be opened into a short, instructor-style read of what happened on that landing — the wind's workload, whether a bump was the air or the airplane, how you held the centerline, and how the flare came together. It works from what your avionics recorded, so a gusty, crosswind final gets credited rather than blamed on you, and a calm-day wobble gets coached kindly and specifically.
The second change picks up where the score used to stop — at the touchdown. landing.fyi now grades the rollout (how straight you track and how much runway you use) and folds it into your landing score as a sixth scored dimension. Open any landing and you'll see the roll drawn on the runway, straight from your own track, with how far off the centerline you ran and how much runway you used beside it.
